Chandan Goswami is the Chief Executive Officer of Altanova Bioenergie, a joint venture between Jakson Green and MSIPL, dedicated to advancing sustainable bioenergy solutions and supporting India’s clean energy transition. With a strong focus on innovation, circular economy principles, and decarbonization, the company is developing next-generation solutions across compressed biogas (CBG), biomass pellets, biochar, green hydrogen, ethanol, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

A seasoned leader with extensive experience spanning renewable energy, investment banking, infrastructure, and strategic finance, Chandan brings a multidimensional perspective to the evolving clean energy ecosystem. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership and strategic roles across prominent organizations including Jakson Green, HDFC Bank, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, BNP Paribas, Société Générale, and IDBI Bank. His professional journey reflects a consistent track record of driving growth, enabling strategic partnerships, and contributing to the expansion of India’s renewable and sustainable energy landscape.

Chandan is also the Founder and Executive Committee Member of the Confederation of Biomass Energy Industry of India (CBEII), where he has played an instrumental role in fostering industry collaboration, policy advocacy, and ecosystem development within the biomass and bioenergy sector. His efforts continue to contribute toward strengthening India’s renewable energy capabilities and promoting sustainable, waste-to-value solutions.

He holds an MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School and has consistently demonstrated leadership excellence throughout his academic and professional journey. Combining deep expertise in finance, strategy, renewable energy, and stakeholder management, Chandan is widely recognized for his vision-driven and purpose-led leadership style.
